Gotta be honest…I can admire the workmanship, but I think manips are lame.
Maybe it’s because I don’t understand the appeal of creating moments that aren’t real…it’s kind of pointless, isn’t it? Sometimes I feel like people get too into manips that they forget what’s real and what isn’t and end up raging on the canon because they can’t separate it from the fanon.
And then there’s the idea that you can judge potential chemistry from manips. You can’t say OMG THEY’LL BE THE HOTTEST THING EVER when you’re basically manipulating their chemistry by choosing specific expressions and poses. Who’s to say that would carry over?
I just don’t get it. And I’m not hating on the Puckleberry fandom. This goes across all fandoms. I’m not a fan of manips in general.
