I don’t think Rachel is singing Lucky.

Lucky is about a girl who has everything that should make her happy, but she’s miserable because she’s missing the one thing that would truly make her happy. Rachel is back to underdog status. Her boyfriend is gone. Her friends are scattered and not with her. She’s no longer the best. There’s nothing about Rachel that would make you think “Fuck, that girl islucky.”

Ian said at Comic Con that Rachel was at a crossroads in her life. I’m Not a Girl (Not Yet a Woman) is the likely song if you’re looking at classic, pre-breakdown Britney. Maybe Every Time, but that’s a song of remorse and is equally unlikely as Lucky.
