Happy Friday, friends! And being Friday…it’s time to spread our Finchel love on Twitter again! I firmly believe we’re being heard and we’re seeing the results of that. We’re halfway through the hiatus and we’re in such a great position to be heard. Two weeks ago, we trended Finchel Forever worldwide in less than five minutes. That’s amazing and truly a testament to what this fandom can do when we work together. Can we do it in four minutes this week? Here’s the plan:
We’re going to hit Twitter at the usual time (1:00 pm central time, 2:00 pm eastern time, 3:00 pm in Brazil, 11:00 am pacific time, 7:00 pm in London, 5 am-ish in Australia depending on what region you’re in. If you need help finding out what time that would be for you, use World Clock. 1:00 pm is Chicago time / Central time. If you can’t Tweet, please set up Twuffer to Tweet for you). Why? Because it just seems to work really well for us. If you can’t Tweet at 1:00 CST and you can’t set up Twuffer, Tweet as much as you can when you can after our Tweet wave and you can retweet the old Tweets back up, too. We need to make as much noise for as prolonged of a period as possible and we need to try to catch the attention of anyone who’s on Twitter at any given time. We’ve been pretty fantastic about this so at this point, I think you all understand the when of it all :)
Who to Tweet
Everyone who will listen. Lea (@msleamichele)/Cory (@corymonteith)/Ryan (@mrrpmurphy)/Brad (@bfalchuk)/Dante (@GLEETV). We should be hitting up @GLEEonFOX and @20centuryfoxTV (the network), @hitchmichael and @mhodgson207 (two of the other writers), @KalanaFalana (the BTS editor) and @KristinDSantos and @MichaelAusiello (the two entertainment reporters with the most cast access), as well. Lets lay a little extra lovin’ on Lea this week for the THR interview she gave.
What to Tweet
We didn’t do so hot last week with the three word phrase, but those are more difficult to trend anyways. We’ll go back to Finchel Forever this week (you need to capitalize the first letter on both words) and if we can trend it this week, we’ll try Finchel4Life next week. If we can’t, we’ll go back to just Finchel. Trending is a plus because we get a ton more exposure, but if we don’t trend and we just fill Twitter feeds with a whole lot of love and appreciation for Finchel, that’s a win in my book.
Please reblog and get the word out for this week’s plans, even if you can’t participate :)
