TOW Lea and Cory are finally official in the eyes of People.com

Though Finn is graduating, we can confirm that Cory will return. “Rachel and Finn’s relationship will very much be setting the scene and pace for the beginning of Season 4,” Monteith says. “They’re going to be a very central part of the show.” Michele teases that we’ll see them trying to find a compromise when it comes to their respective dreams — or in Finn’s case, lack thereof.

I just think this is really interesting in retrospect and something we probably want to keep in mind now, especially as seeds of this current story had been planted long before this interview happened.

There’s a reason why Finchel get the screentime, the stories and the big moments: love them or hate them, they’re the ship that gets the biggest reaction and the most passionate response.

Top 20 Finchel Moments of the Back Half

#1 ll Library reunion ll New York

A year ago today, I met Cory at an AT&T store, a few hours before New York aired. I mentioned to him that my friends and I would be watching together that night, and that we were all rooting for Finn and Rachel. He leaned in close to me, so close that I could smell the coffee on his breath, and said to me “Do you want to know what happens tonight?” I told him I did, and he leaned in even closer. “Do you really want to know?” Shanny shouted an emphatic “NO! NO SPOILERS” at him, as he leaned into my ear to whisper “Finn and Rachel totally get back together.” And so it was.

I sometimes say it was difficult to choose a favorite moment from season two, but when it comes down to it, it wasn’t difficult at all — this really stood above the rest. Finn’s remorse, his fear that he let everyone down all the while not really regretting anything at all because he loves Rachel. Rachel’s diminishing resolve to keep Finn at arm’s length to maintain her New York-or-bust stance and her lack of regret over the kiss that cost them everything they had been working towards for two years.

But it all came down to a couple of lines at the end, didn’t it? “I’m going to New York and I’m never coming back.” “Graduation is a year away. Got any plans until then?” So much has changed and yet, so much has stayed the same. And so it was. A reunion a dozen or so episodes in the making sealed with a kiss in a library, a promise of a year and nothing more, and a sense of peace that had escaped both of them for nearly the entire season.

Perfection.

Asker Anonymous Asks:
why was it so important for People magazine to have an article about them?

Because People is the most reliable and trusted entertainment magazine.

In hockey terms, this would be known as a face-off.

Glee costars Lea Michele and Cory Monteith, whose characters may soon be married on the show, engaged in some real-life PDA at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday – smooching their way through a playoff game between the New York Rangers vs New Jersey Devils.

Michele, 25, and Monteith, 30, at times seemed blissfully unaware of the action on the ice, preferring to keep each other warm in the stands.

Speaking of scoring, the Devils put away the winning goal in the third period to win the game 3-2.

ja9toextremes replied to your post: Exactly, we have never seen either so affectionate so them “acting” might be an appropriate term, right? It just seems weird we went from them being super private about affection to them gallivanting around unable to keep their hands off each other. You don’t think that is strange?

Gahh I hate the comments that make every incidence of PDA seem like it came out of nowhere. In reality, the past few months have been a slow drip of Monchele becoming more public with their affections. Gradually. Because they want to - not for PR! D:

I mean, that’s it exactly.

You can go back to LAST SUMMER (I hate to say it, but back even when she was still with Theo) and trace the progression of their relationship.

The flirting and sightings during the Glee tour.

The heavy, heavy Twitter flirting late summer into early winter.

The stuff they both said when they were doing press for TFT.

The heavier PDA in the BTS stuff.

If you bother to look at things chronologically, it’s all there.

Logical people call that a progression. That said, if there’s one thing this fandom lacks above all else, it’s logic.

We know some of you think this Lea Michele and Cory Monteith romance is a publicity gimmick cooked up by executives at FOX, but we hope you get with the program because this thing is real.

The gleeful looking couple was photographed taking a hand-in-hand stroll through Manhattan on Wednesday, looking more and more comfortable with taking their romance public than they did earlier this year.

The two Glee stars did a little shopping in The Big Apple, dropping into a few stores and picking up a couple of items.

Earlier this month, a RumorFix photographer captured a very intimate moment between Cory and Lea that sent Glee fanatics into overdrive with theories on the authenticity of the couple’s romance. To check out those photographs, click here.

So Cory and Lea went to see Book of Mormon tonight…

Jane Lynch was grinning from ear-to-ear as HollywoodLife.com tried to pry Glee secrets out of her. The witty Golden Globe-winner chatted with us at the premiere of Virginia on May 14 hosted by The Cinema Society & Shiseido with Grey Goose, and we even got to ask her about Finn [Cory Monteith] and Rachel’s [Lea Michele] real-life romance!

“I love them both,” she tells us. “And I’m glad they’re happy.”

The season finale of Glee airs May 22 but until she starts filming season four — she’s on vacation!

“This is it!” she says smiling. “I’m going to go on vacation and back to Glee in late June, early July.”

So what does Jane do when she’s not playing the conniving Sue Sylvester?

“I eat and drink coffee and my wife is a great cook,” she tells us. “I hang out with my friends.”
