- You break up Finchel and introduce a new male LI to Rachel (in some undetermined capacity) and send Finn off to the army.
- You have Kurt heading off to NYC at some point while Blaine stays in Lima. Chris talks Klaine breakups, Darren talks about Blaine being tempted to cheat.
- You have long distance Brittana (if any Brittana at all).
- You retain at least two TGP1 contestants and write a role for at least one TGP2 contestants while getting rid of at least four original cast members (who won’t return but for one-off appearances during holidays or reunions).
- You then inflate the canvas with two more male characters, one with no ties to the canvas and one whose tie to the canvas will only be returning for holidays and reunions.

I think the clear idea would be Quinndependence…that she’s leaving Lima with no ties to her romantic past. But then part of me also thinks she said her entire spiel to Rachel because she doesn’t believe any of those guys would want to go into her future with her and it’s easier to pretend you don’t want something or think you don’t want it when in actuality, it’s something you want but can’t have. Finn dumped her when he realized his feelings for Rachel were far deeper and he couldn’t pretend they weren’t. Sam is enamored with Mercedes. Puck turned her down flat when she offered herself to him.
I think the entire sequence of NCSG was interesting…that Puck was the one who came out first and had the longest and perhaps most intimate part of the sequence…and that Puck came to her. Quinn had to go to Finn and Sam kind of met her halfway, and I think that was kind of synonymous with each relationship.
So it could go a few ways: they could have closed the book on all three relationships (I think the door is most definitely closed on Fuinn and Fabrevans…those are dunzo). Quick? It really depends on if Quinn meant what she said to Rachel or if it’s something she was saying, in part, to convince herself of the same.
I think it’s clear that Dianna won’t be on Glee next year. I’m fairly certain Mark won’t be, either. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them end it kind of ambiguously between Puck and Quinn…maybe with them wanting to start fresh. Or maybe that was Quinn’s romantic swan song and she’ll finally find contentment with being single, bringing her character arc full-circle.
So this is JMO…as someone who ships Quinn with no one and was frankly tired of the romantic merry-go-round that was her love life.
