I was just rewatching a few episodes, and Lea’s performance during the proposal was really extraordinary. I know that non-subtle writing overall on Glee doesn’t do her any favors, but, damn, no matter what one thinks of her as a person, I am not sure anyone can really make the point that Glee would have half as successful if they hadn’t nailed the casting for their star.

In other news…Twinnie and I mastered the art of the verbal keysmash today. While I was walking down a crowded street in Downtown Chicago. EVERYTHING WAS BEAUTIFUL AND NOTHING HURT, OKAY?

We know they are both different (Smash being a drama), but do you think there’s a possibility that the critics will be harder on Glee’s because of Smash?
